Hello from a Georgia neighbor. I found you on Twitter Mamas. Your menu plan sounds so southerly yummy. What time is dinner?

Hi Karen,
Dinner turned out pretty good.
Only thing is, it was served late and DS was late to boyscouts.
Which means he had to do push-ups.
Yeah, his troop is pretty strict.
The leaders really do care about the boys.
Some of the boys have gone into the military.
They say boot camp is easy, because they were prepared.
And all the boys made it to Eagle Scout.

I think I need to start writing down my menu every week. I used to scribble it on paper and put it on the fridge…it seems so much more fun to do it this way.

Somehow, dinner always ends up being late for us for Cub Scouts. Glad I am not the only one lol.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and sharing your story :)

Worthy Journeys

I grew up going to school every day and learning what I was told to learn in whatever way the teacher chose to present it. Thankfully for me, I learn easily in most modalities. It wasn’t until my husband and I were homeschooling our kids that we realized just how important learning styles are for kids being academically successful. In school, teachers often use multiple modalities to try to make sure all learning styles are covered and help kids succeed. At home, we have the “luxury” of being able to work with our kids individually.Catherine Martin

WORDS TO ENCOURAGE YOU

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
Isaiah 40:28 - 29

The Church’s one foundation Is Jesus Christ her Lord, She is His new creation By water and the Word. From heaven He came and sought her To be His holy bride; With His own blood He bought her And for her life He died.
