That’s a nice recipe, and it’s a vintage one, too. You should link it to Vintage Recipe Thursday. Seems quite easy, and tasty. Thank you for participating in the bread roundup. :-)

Anything with peanut butter is a winner in my opinion. Any idea how it got it’s name? Thanks for spreading the word about the round up!:)

Hi Tamy,
Yes, Peanut butter is a winner.
However I don’t know how it got it’s name.
It’s good with Orange Marmalade or cheese of your choice.

Wow! That sounds so good. I think it would be delicious with some chocolate chips thrown in, too. There is nothing better than chocolate and peanut butter together!

I’m adding this to the list of things to try.

Hey, I believe your right.
Chocolate chips thrown in does sound good.
Although the pie is good on it’s own. A few chips thrown in will give it some life.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks for dropping by & leaving a comment.

Worthy Journeys

I grew up going to school every day and learning what I was told to learn in whatever way the teacher chose to present it. Thankfully for me, I learn easily in most modalities. It wasn’t until my husband and I were homeschooling our kids that we realized just how important learning styles are for kids being academically successful. In school, teachers often use multiple modalities to try to make sure all learning styles are covered and help kids succeed. At home, we have the “luxury” of being able to work with our kids individually.Catherine Martin

WORDS TO ENCOURAGE YOU

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
