Interesting, I had never thought about making anything but dinner in the crock pot–this sounds Yummy!!

Yes, I am learning more things than soups & stews can be made in crockpots.

Homemade apple butter sounds like just the thing I would like to make. It will have to wait until I get my crockpot though.

Stopped by to say hi. Came over via The Homeschool Lounge.

Worthy Journeys

I grew up going to school every day and learning what I was told to learn in whatever way the teacher chose to present it. Thankfully for me, I learn easily in most modalities. It wasn’t until my husband and I were homeschooling our kids that we realized just how important learning styles are for kids being academically successful. In school, teachers often use multiple modalities to try to make sure all learning styles are covered and help kids succeed. At home, we have the “luxury” of being able to work with our kids individually.Catherine Martin

WORDS TO ENCOURAGE YOU

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
Isaiah 40:28 - 29

The Church’s one foundation Is Jesus Christ her Lord, She is His new creation By water and the Word. From heaven He came and sought her To be His holy bride; With His own blood He bought her And for her life He died.
